Monkeys: Fond of Bananas

My main man seems to be chancing his arm a bit more than usual, with this pretty bizarre (and definitely one of the funniest so far) caption:

Wtf was the first thing that came to mind.
It was a pretty tenuous link to the actual article – a guy from Mayo was just sentenced for trying to smuggle cigarettes into Britain in 2007. They were among 530 boxes of bananas, which were donated to some ape rescue place, hence the photos.

The last paragraph was just plain weird too (though reading the second last paragraph, I was like “honest” cigarette retailers? who doesn’t care, the retailers or the smugglers?):

The second last paragraph was a bit odd too:

Urr…not sure if selling something you know will kill people can be called “honest”, and I’m fairly certain the retailers cause a lot more harm by selling the cigarettes than smugglers do by importing.
But worry, the legend has it sorted:
