GTA: Limerick

Got a pleasant email from one of the production editors at GadgetRepublic (sister site of Silicon Republic), wanting to use my Grand Theft Auto: Limerick spoof I made back in 2005 as an April’s fool joke on their front page.

I was all for it of course, delighted they even asked me (the image is available on DeviantArt anyway). Then again, I was like “that one’s not good enough to fool someone!” and decided to create two more versions for them – one using actual PS3 boxart, another using 360 boxart. Distracted me from software engineering study for a bit too.
They decided to go with the PS3 version, here’s a capture of the page (thumbnailed):
