PS3 – Deals

Currently shopping round for a PS3 Slim (not particularly pushed about 120 or 250gb), just rang some places in town, seeing what deals they had.

Unfortunately, they were universally rubbish, Game’s 250gb bundle (250gb, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, Shift, FIFA/two other EA game) for €385 being the only remotely decent one (though Gamestop’s 250GB with Uncharted 2 for €350 wasn’t too bad either). Even Game’s other ones (120GB, LittleBigPlanet, €330 – “How much does LittleBigPlanet go for normally?” “€29.99”) were total shit.

Currently leaning towards Amazon (free shipping to Ireland, woo!), where I can get some variation of a 250GB, Infamous, Killzone 2 and Uncharted 1 for around €320, though the deal doesn’t seem to stay steady – it’s unavailable at the moment, not linked to in the main Amazon bundle page; the 250GB isn’t available from Amazon itself (is available from other retailers selling through Amazon though); and most perplexing of all, the header shows a different deal (250GB, HDMI cable, three games) to the one actually on the page (250GB, Infamous, one other)

Hopefully the deal’ll reappear Friday (which I assume is when the 250GB is out officially), so I might order it then, along with Uncharted 2 (9 from Edge! 10 from Eurogamer!).
